Hard to tell where it is at but should be solid, make sure you clean it and then dress it up for rust prevention, I saw someone use Plastidip to coat them. Sounds cheap and effective

its right next to the strut tower and is welded to it i believe. should i do something other than undercoating? to prevent rust?

ran everything under the truck tucked mostly inside the running board.wasnt sure if i should put something around the wires for added protection.we have really bad weather here in the winter,and tons of salt.

I saw some guy on the forum throw some Plasti Dip on top after he was done for extra protection, won't hurt anything and it peels right off

and ran up through the bed drains. hopefully these won't be needed from water getting in,but so far since the new cover everything has stayed dry.

its what i do for a living. still had a couple tools from work sitting back there.im surprised someone recognized what they were.
