Triticum Agricolam
You want your port's cross sectional area to remain the same through out the length of the port, then you just measure down the centerline to get the length you need. If you gave us a picture or drawing of exactly what you want to do we might be able to help you more. I thought this was probably the answer. thank you for posting this

philrab
I was in a similar situation with a trapezoidal box I was/am designing. I ended up designing around it so that my port doesn't have to make the turn along the angled side. Just not sure if I'd run into any unforeseen issues with the fact that the column of air in that port is going to turn that corner at a different rate at the top of the port vs. the bottom (could make for some interesting port turbulence.) And on the other hand, it may make no difference at all. Anybody with access to a CFD simulator is welcome to prove this empirically to satisfy curiosity, but I'd try to avoid it personally. 2015 Toyota Tacoma Build Thread 2007 Mazda 3; 5000K HID's, Kenwood Excelon KDC-X997, Infinity Reference 6.5 comps in front and coaxials in the rear doors, JL 320.4 four channel, Rab Designs built ported enclosure with an SA12, Kenwood monoblock, Redline Leater shift boot/e-brake boot/center console cover, JBR short shifter/shifter bushings/rear motor mount.
