Running 2 channel amp for mids and highs. Couple wiring questions

I have a aq200.2 that I am going to be using to run my 2 sets of components. For my head unit I have the Kenwood excelon x998. How do I hook the amp up exactly. Since I only have 1 set of inputs on the amp do I use the front or rear set off the head unit. Or doesn't it really matter

Doesnt mater. you will have no fader capability with a set up like this obviously, and you will be running the amp at hopefuly two ohms depending on the impedance of your comps. For what it's worth I would make sure whatever set of RCA's you use be sure there is no filter on them from the deck

Rolex you sicken me.

would I be able to have fading with a product like this http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_45078_NVX-XIV2M.html

You would use this to make a 2 channel to 1, a 4 channel to 2...using only one set of RCA outputs from the headunit...lets say you want to use a 2 channel amp just for the fronts, you would run the front rca on the headunit to these adapters connected to channel 1 and 2 of the amp...
