JoshCorley
So after using the tool for a while I have noticed something some amps going from alpine pdx to option audio and everything in between. Some amps have polarity back to front, well that's what I assume. I noticed with the dd1 sometimes it doesn't detect a signal and if I move to the negative pin of the amps output it will work correctly anyone experienced this? OrionStang
It states in the manual that sometimes the negative speaker output will act as the positive signal. Sundown amps are notorious. Whats the problem, you didn't read the manual? SMD Super Seller My Feedback Thread
JoshCorley
What I mean is going from left speaker to right speaker is different
SnowDrifter
One side of the amp has a constant voltage. The other side gets modulates for your signal output. That would make sense. You can't get a signal from a DC reading And yes, some amps will change depending on left vs. Right channels. Makes it so the amp can be bridged without a bridge switch.
