Time For A New Amp, Need Help

So, I just got myself 2 Rockford Fosgate P3D415's. Decided to go from the 12's to the 15s because the looks of the new p3s are nice and the 15s...come on. Big, Black--what more do girls want? Anyway, I had an old school RF T1500, but for some reason the RCA inputs weren't working anymore, and im too lazy to send it in and get it fixed. I'd rather get a new amp.

Having a debate between these two amps. Im not looking to start a vs war, im looking for an honest opinon from you guys. I was leaning towards the RF because its new and it hits the 1200w mark at 1 ohm, which matches my subs perfectly. But then i seen this JL 1000/1, which has been used, and is from Pawn America, but I its $275, and kicks out 1000w at 4 ohms, which would save me the stress on the amp. I know the JL 1000/1 is an amazing amp for the 1000w class, and for $275....used or not, thats like 700 cheaper than buying it new. I know the Prime amps from RF and the entry level, and i had my t1500 for about 3 years, did me good so i know they make good amps, but its $220 bucks new, vs $275 used JL.

What do you guys think? It's damn near impossible to find a 1000w @ 4 ohm for $275....

1. The rules around here state that you cannot have a "versus" thread like this. People start bashing one thing or another, others get butthurt and some cry to the mods. So no versus threads.

2. It doesn't make sense to run at 4 ohms "for safety". If an amp is specced for 1 ohm operation it will work just as safely at 1 ohm as an amp specced for 4 ohm operation working at 4 ohm. Most of today's bass amps run at 1 ohm no problem. To use an amp that is 1 ohm stable at 4 ohms for safety is just a huge waste of power, and an offense worthy of a slap to the face.

I had an issue where I thought the RCA's on the amplifier were going out and it ended up being my head unit.

As for the amplifier you should go with... I would recommend a SoundQubed Q1-1200D or NVX JAD1200.1D those are both right around 270 brand new and are both better than anything you've linked.

If you want a little more, i'd suggest Crescendo Symphony S1500.1 or CT Sounds AT1400.1D.
