Nikitaaa's civic 4th order trunk. SUNDOWN, AMPERE and MORE!

Hey guys...

Just realized the other day that I still don't have a build log up for my 2007 civic.

Here is a picture with me when I just bought the car!

Afterwards, I decided to do some tint and get new wheels.

I've had a ton of builds in this car so far. My latest managed me a 151.7 sealed on the dash. That was with 2 12's and a 7.5k. But, being loud was nice and all it just didn't sound awesome on music.

That was partially why I decided to do this rebuild.

The build consists of:

(4) Sundown X-8's

(1) Ampere Audio 3800 v2

(2) Stinger SPV-44 batteries

(2) runs of stinger HPM 0/1

(2) Cresendo PWX 6.5" mids

(1) MB Quart 80.4

Alpha damp deadener

Pioneer double din

8.5" Adjustable Psychoport

3:1 ratio 4th order

Afterwards I put these babies in. They sound awesome and love power!

Also installed a pioneer double din. Nothing fancy but does the job well.

Made an order with my friend Bill Lolo for a 8.5" adjustable port!

Now to begin the box build! Big shout out to my friend Eric at Neuman Audio. He helped me every step of the way building this box!

This was after we cleaned up all of the wiring. We built amp amp rack in the spare tire well and mounted the batteries and 4 channel amp there.

Next, we built a frame that helped seal off the trunk. It also helped because we were able to blot it on to the existing bars of the trunk and attach the box to it. The box slips in and out of it.

Next we begun the box!

Here is the baffle. We staggered the subs for space issues.

Here it is inside of the partially finished box.

and added the top to the sealed side

and top to the ported side. We also cut the hole for the 8.5 inch port.

The hole in the middle of the box is for a removable top to enable working inside of the box and wiring subs to be easier.

Next it is time to attach the box and frame together for a test fit.

And after carpet was done was the real pain in the ass... getting this big mofo inside of the trunk. Let me just say course words were said and it was not fun. We had to grind an edge of the box even.

Even installed the port and painted the inside of the box black! Woohooo!

FYI guys, any spots that look bare were fixed and I will also update this with more pictures of the painted inside of the box!

For now, we begun carpeting the other side of the box and begun building the amp rack.

We used a different color of carpet on the removable panel.

Me too! Thursday the amp comes on and still waiting on sundown to ship the subs... They have them there at sundown HQ but have not shipped for two weeks Hoping they ship out in the next few days...
