Polar-bass
Gentlemen, This one is going to move fast as long as the temperature doesn't drop too bad. The vehicle is a Mitsubishi Pajero 3,2 Dakar edition. I have a Mechman 220A installed. I would love to put another one in but noone here wants to take on that job (making dual alt bracket) so that's what I have for now. It should be okay with a good battery bank on 14K for music. This is a daily driver, however I am aiming to do 155 with the build. Should it do a couple of numbers below than i'm happy with that as long as it sound majestic and moves air. In addition I plan to do port top, which isn't ideal for dBz, but it's the only way I can fit that cone area in a flat wall. Equipment: 1 Mechman 220 2 Odessey 1750 under hood 4 Odessey pc2150s in the back 4 LIB 3,5KW amps with TM dual inputs (korean, comparable to other well known medium priced brands) 8" subs in front doors for midbass JBL 6,5" components in front for mids and highs (might be swapped in future) Copper bus bar + Toolmaker and SHCA goodies Waiting for my 8 LIB 12s, they are very similar to Soundcubed I believe (3" alu DVC) - pics will be provided! It took me a couple of days to tear out the old wall and I'm currently switching batteries under the hood. A few pictures: These were from the last couple of days, More to come! RainStryke
Nice! Where did you snag those subs and how much for? They look a lot like the digital designs 3500 series.
Polar-bass
Thanks for your comments guys! I bougth these from a Norwegian dealer, who I assume buys from the same factory as other international brands and puts his own name on stuff. They were 446USD a piece, and then a few percent off since i bought a whole bunch. DD3512 is 887USD over here. Hey are also great woofers, I've ran the 3518s but i think LIB gives me more bang for the buck as long as I'm not aiming for the best 3% of what is available for equipment. I think my fingers might get cold once or twice before this build is finished! That's what you get for choosing such a stupid hobby while living far above the arctic circle .
