My friend is about to buy one from a guy and he ask me about this amp. i told him i heard good things about the 8000 but never heard anyone running the 4000 just need to get some insight on it before i tell him its a good buy or not.
soundstream15 Posted October 27, 2014 Report Posted October 27, 2014 Great amp. My friend had one. Never ever got warm from hours of play time. Don't wire below the rated ohm load. Don't let the voltage drop below 12v They are very efficient and you should not have issues

People are spending twice that for a korean 3500 board because everyone still is under the impression that all brazilian amplifiers are fire starters thanks to brands like Stetsom and Soundigital. It is a different technology, which is why it is so small. If you look at the MMATs amps, they use the exact same tech. And are also very small. I've just never seen an amp like that other than junk shit that claims 4000 wwatts and makes 500 clipped.
