i found that is sound a lot more heavy on the lower bass than the jl....using the same jl amp and the same jl spec box

Nice setup. Interesting. Different. Nice equipment. I would have laid it out differently, but to each their own. We have the exact same box for the W7. Face the subwoofers towards the rear of the car, they will sound alot better that way. Thanks for looking at my build. Im far from done, keep checking back.

How did you use the same box? Or why would you use a JL spec box for a Sundown sub? Did you just put a new baffle on the JL box? How did you change the port size? Maybe I just am interpreting what you said wrong. Can you elaborate on what you mean by the "same jl spec box"?

Well, picked up a little more equipment. Now the decisions on which stuff to use. Got a set of CDT ES-06 midbass, a set of CDT DRT-26 titanium tweeters(with ALL the proper mounting hardware), and a CDT QES1220 subwoofer. Think I'll scrap the TC Sounds 8" midbass and go with the CDT Es-06 instead to match my 3 way CDT components. Kinda thinking on putting the 12" CDT sub in the car on the side in the rear in a sealed box to give me more punch seeing as how it only needs .6ft3 to run properly and that won't be in the way of other stuff. I have a Rockford Punch 500s amp that will run it nicely and I can hide the amp in the spare tire well. Not sure yet though. So much high quality equipment to decide from.
