Tub Asko
two 300s ain't bad but then again you won't have much idle power either. i'd go for something more like a 220 and a 300 and call it quits. the 300s idle at 130. so that was a positive. 220 isn't going to idle at 220. dmanson
the 300s idle at 130. so that was a positive. 220 isn't going to idle at 220. from what i heard the 300s idle lower than 130, i could be wrong. regardless two 300s or a 220 and a 300 would do ............... and i know a 220 amp alternator isn't going to idle at 220 it idles around 130 and that info is from an email sent from Mr Iraggi himself to me. PaulO2288
I honestly don't think you need that much but the more the better. I would say just one alt and 2 2400s would be good enough. But if you have the money, go for it. lol All the electrical that you could have the better, steadier voltage and more output. 2 300 Amp Alts should be good and the 1400 and the 3 2400's should be fine for what your doing. Your running a good amount of equipment! Looking foward to it.

littleitaly1990
shit i'm having major voltage drops running two 150 amp alts and a yellow top with about 2900 watts rms now. damn man...with the same wattage my 225 amp alt and stock battery can pretty much keep up, at least at 2000 rpms....even at idle I can play most songs at full tilt...is your wiring up to par??? Strange. Quote A vitrolic, megalomaniacal sadistic psychopath.

PaulO2288
Im running a stock alt with the big 3 done, 2 batteries stock in the front and a dry cell in the back and running around 2500 watts and im having voltage drop at idle. Im going from 14 to 12.5-13. Thats not too bad I guess. But I want to upgrade my battery in front and rear to 2 Yellow tops of Kinetik 1400's and get a high out put alt.
