Wassalla
I've had this sub for a while and has sat in my closet for years and finally drug it out today. What im wondering is if people ever messed with increasing the rms handling of these subs? It is the one with a 4in voice coil and handles 600rms and 1200 max from the factory. Im just wondering if there is anything that has been done before, or that I can do to increase handling power?

Wassalla
Id love to find another and run them at 2 ohms off my bd1501p, but also thought if I could upgrade it to handle 1500rms, it would be a pretty sweet sub. bcbrassard
Ya , motor cooling, spiders...Pretty much everything. Ebay and see if you can pick up another sub. i have ran a 2012 RF T1D412 in 1 ohm off a T1500 and it took it, But it was clean power. Gains set with a DD-1. and it could get a little smelly if you pushed it to hard or to long. Sub ratings are 800 rms 1600 max. and i was about 2k.
