Dual SA-10 Enclosure Help

Hello,

I'm building a box for 2x Sundown Audio SA-10's as per their own google sketchup files that are available at http://www.sundownaudio.com/index.php/products/subwoofers/item/sa-series.html when you click on the Box Specs near the bottom of the page. The only issue I'm having, is that in that sketchup file for dual SA-10's, they don't specify where the woofers are actually to be mounted.

I'd like to know whether they are supposed to be in the top (which isnt even shown on the sketchup model) or on the "front" of the box (same side as the port).

With that design you could put them on the front or on the top. Either will work just fine.

You could even be really crazy and put a sub on the top on one side and a sub on the front on the other :-)

And man this is good news, I was afraid that I'd need to put the subs on the top of the box, which I don't think would be very visually appealing as this box nearly fills my small car's trunk, having them in plain view on the front is how I like it.

OP just to add, if building that box outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box of same dimensions to test fit in it's way inside, many times people find out late that there's no way to get the box in.
