I used to dumpster dive behind a local car audio install shop and find those remotes by the dozens. Still in the sealed packaging. I made a pretty penny selling them on Amazon and eGay! Come to think of it, I made a killing slinging equipment from that dumpster for a couple of years....dug out a BRAND NEW, in the sealed box Alpine CDA-9887 deck plus around 20 or so amps. All working perfectly. I bet an employee was coming back for the deck later or somebody made a huge oops! Sorry for the off topic..... your install is coming along nicely!

It should be a good deck for sure. -Edit, I just googled and found out 4.8V with 5 bands of EQ. Not Bad deck for $140(if that's even what you paid). Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

True statement lol 4.8 pre outs even though pre outs really don't matter these days. 5 band parametric eq which is better than the typical graphic eq. O and the best for last..... 3 zone color seletion..... BOO YA lol
