I know you can mod the back seat part, im curious if you spaced the bottom seat up or just let it rest on the top of the sub box

Oh...its resting right on the box but I push down some and they lock.

I didnt shim up the seat...if I wouldnt have cut those brackets on the back I probably would have though just to gain more clearance

Here is an online calculator for determining port size: http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31

That calculator gives a pretty conservative number, you should be able to get away with 75% of the port area it recommends, maybe a little less, but if you reduce it too much you will get port noise and compression.

Two 3" ports is only 14 sq in of port area, that's not going to be anywhere near enough. How many watts are you going to put into this thing?

Ok now I gotcha. Ty very much. I need 2 3inch ports 14inchs long per side. When my initial figures were done I didnt understand that its not only based on the box but on per speaker as well

So are you figuring 4 total then? If so, they are going to have to be longer than 14", more like 24" to tune you to 35 Hz. Four 3" ports is still be less port area than I'd recommend.
