death_by_lows Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 when i turn my volume up. my fuse cant handle the power and blow. i recently bought a new pioneer avh-x1500dvd headunit. i had no problem with the old headunit but it was a old jvc and did not sound too good. i was wondering if i should there was a better fuse out there which can handle the low notes on high volume.
Broke_Audio_Addict Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 What kind of wire, what amp, what size fuse are you using now? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Miguels Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 did you tune youre amp to the new deck? chances are you are clipping and its causing you to draw more current than what the fuse is capable of handling. some decks have more preamp signal then others my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/

Broke_Audio_Addict Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 5 amp fuse? what is the fuse for the amp or head unit? That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
Miguels Posted December 25, 2014 Report Posted December 25, 2014 you mean the fuse in the panel not the fuse on the power run to amp? you have a short that is caused by the vibration or you didnt wire the deck right my logshttp://www.stevemead...-my-new-set-up/my blow through loghttp://www.stevemead...future-updates/ 96 ss http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/164094-96-impala-ss-build/
