They add bass boost so dumb as kids turn it up thinking they are louder and blow all their shit. So now they need new equipment, and they come running back but buy the more expensive shit because they wanna be louder yet.

That's what I would assume at least, don't see any other reason to have it on there.

ummmm.... all your eq settings on your deck should be at 0. mine are all negative actually.

and your gain still isn't set right, half doesn't mean anything!

please read what a gain is, and how it works.

gain doesn't equal volume or power or bass, or watts.... please research before you kill your subs.

also i thought the same thing frakes, but even good companies, sundown, DC, ct, B2.. they all have it.

All eq settings at 0 isn't necessarily right either but you never want to boost them so stay at or below 0.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
