Bump4life Posted February 3, 2015 Author Report Share Posted February 3, 2015 I'm not saying anyone is right or wrong, i was just taking advice and applying it to my system. trying to get every db of info i can. but i thought your pvc port was on the small end. i get a Lil port noise around 23hz but I'm not going to complain about that...i can play into the 60hz's tuned to see where this goes! haha yea a lil port noise is much different than my port noise which is up to 40 hz. i may take a video of it. its bad. Cool build. I've always loved the small single sub builds. I see you are using the old version of Torres. The new version is much more accurate, especially with port tuning. i didnt realize there was a newer one. and as far as box measurements, the version i have is right on. i measured everything by hand and ti was the same. I dont rely on program to do it all. I also work it all out myself. Yea the port tuning length was slightly off but not by more than an inch at least in my case. winisd and torres disagreed by about .75 inches in length which really isnt anything to worry about. but thanks for the heads up! and yea single subs make things easier for sure! less power, less weight, less money if things go poorly. I'm pretty good with computers though so maybe it's different for some. I was able to load bitone settings in 10 minutes.
