audiofanaticz Posted January 12, 2015 Report Share Posted January 12, 2015 Yes, the DD-1HV unit can be used on smaller amplifiers just like the normal DD-1. The DD-1 is good for amplifiers up to 15,000watts rms (1.2volts to 125volts AC). The DD-1HV is good for amplifiers up to 40,000watts rms (1.2volts to 200volts AC). The DD-1+ is also good up to 40,000watts rms like the HV model (1.0volts to 200volts AC), but adds additional features such gain overlap, digital read out of the voltage which are some key things for installers to take notes of for potential customers coming back with warranty claims.
