Nope...a passive radiator design uses a main driver and a drone cone, which means it does not have any of its guts...no VC, magnet, etc...just the cone, suspension, and frame...

I dunno. Kinda looks like they are using the square piece as a PR like a L5 or L7 square config sub. Looks like it has a surround. The "cone" in this case is the plastic square piece in the back.

The only other reason to have that is if it was mesh or something in the back and as a vent. But thats not a vent it looks solid.

EDIT: So I just looked at the site. Yes that is the 6" sub its square and its a PR.

so wait the ik5 Amp. has a passive radiator like the ik500 or does it have an active driver? What is the BT version? wish someone made a video and opened it up lol!

it looks like it has an active 6" sub...its bluetooth...4 different versions
