just seen that your amps have dual inline 60amp fuses.

might want to keep a eye on them man.

a 4000w amp shouldn't have 2 60amp fuses built into them.

And not cea complainant.

Cea compliant means nothing.

I used this same system in a lincoln town car and it did well. I only kept the amps turned on half way.

The QA4000D is a 4,000 watt mono-block car amplifier. This is a class A/B amp with a very efficient power supply. This amp is way more powerful than the cheaper brands who rate there amps at 5,000 watts or 10,000 watts (or whatever number they are up to by now). These amps are rated and tested during production. Quantum is known to make great sounding amps. We guarantee you will not be let down by the performance of this amp. This amp will make your subs sound extremely loud! In terms of sound quality, this amp is top of the line! This amp has a built in low pass crossover network so you can fine-tune and adjust the bass frequencies. It has a built in sub-sonic filter, which works very accurately! This amp is equipped with (2) 60A fuses. The fuse rating is one of the best ways to see how powerful an amp is. 120A of fuse power means this amp will be crazy powerful!!

right from there mouth.

i know cea isn't really anything, but it's been a long, long time since i seen one that wasnt.

Oh really, don't you have three that aren't in your build?

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

im looking at your box and all i can say is.. the port is too small. its a neat design but you need more port if you really want it to get down.. your port is as big as the port i had when i was running a single kicker l7

you asked yesterday and built without checking back.. im willing to help you just need to be more patient.

so here is the cut sheet i had worked out for you to build a bandpass 2:1 ratio

The box is going to be 3ft^3 per sealed chamber and a 12.5ft^3 common ported chamber tuned to 46hz. The overall dimensions are 48.5" wide x 19.5" tall x 50" deep with a 30" wide x 8" tall port opening. Everything except the front is going to be sandwiched between the top and bottom pieces, so naturally everything between them will be 18" tall. I left the port sticking 3" outside of the box so that it will be firing through the hole instead of at it. If you end up wanting to lower the tuning, simply cut some 8" tall x 11" long pieces to slap onto each side of the port. This will shrink the port size a little and drop the tuning because of it.

Cut List
top and bottom: 2x - 48.5"x48.5"
front: 2x - 48.5"x19.5"
sides: 2x - 47"x18", 2x - 47.75"x18"
back: 47"x18", 48.5"x18"
sub baffles: cut 4x - 48.5"x18" and make your 80 degree angles so that you have 47.75" across what will be facing the ported chamber
port: 34.5"x12.5" for the port flange, 2x - 9.5"x11" and 2x - 30"x11" for the port pieces
bracing: using 2x2's(or 2x4's if you want), cut 2x - 18" long to brace in the ported chamber, and cut 2x - 7 3/8" long with an 80 angle on one side to brace between the subs in the sealed chamber.

This just a box I had built a few weeks back but I never put it in. Thank you for the specs I'm finna start on it in a few days. The rain has really put me back on progress. Oh yeah the port on this is small so I cut it out but like I said I never put it in, idk why lol

I'm not playing. My phone keep changing up words but I had one built for me awhile back but I never used it. I want to do one myself so that's why I've came here but I'll get a video up as soon as the weather clear up
