ran new wires, same issue.

i pulled them back out.

i think I'm gonna wait and get a new deck. when i get the new deck I'm gonna rerun all the wires (i mean everything) i don't want to keep buying parts and breaking them piece by piece. just gonna redo everything at once

i have this same problem when i ran 2 sets of rca to my 4 channel. (off pioneer 4000 nex) i ran a single rca and used y adapters ,and the noise went away. for some reason there is noise when hooking up front and rear inputs into 1 amp. this probably isn't the perfect solution, but it worked for me.

well i figured out how to fix the issue. still not sure why the issue is there... not sure I'll ever know.

if i only hook up the sub preout everything works great.

only front.. works great.. only rear works great.

do any 2 terrible noise!

so i grounded the front and rear not the sub output and everything works prefect!

i did replace the sub rca, the front and rear will have to wait for another nice day.

but I'm back to bassing so I'll leave it alone!

if it works don't fix it!

Glad you got it fixed, the only advice I could have given you is to ground the rca shielding on the head unit which you already tried. I had some noise in my old setup and I did this grounding technique to my Kenwood deck and no issues afterwards, ever. I found this one on google, looks super ghetto, but works wonders. https://shufti.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/img_3561.jpg

that's pretty much how i have it now..just not the sub output.

ok guys have a new issue. i finally got both amps hooked back up. (both mono amps)

I'm running them to each coil at 1ohm not strapped.

everything is fine 99% of the time. but sometimes at high volume i get this really loud crackle noise. almost like a static on the fm station. it only last a second then goes away. doesn't happen all the time, and can't make it happen when i want. it's not coming from the subs but the bass Is causing the issue!

subs off noise doesn't happen.

I'm sure it's stemming from the original problem.... but it's so rare when it does happen..scares the shit out of me.

do you think i should ground the sub output as well?

all grounds have been replaced..along with new rc cables.

i don't know anymore...
