Two questions,What to look for on subs,& What tools needed to build box

I have a few questions,maybe you guys can help. First question,what specific specs do you look for,when choosing subwoofers that'll play low. And last question,what router bits,jig saw,compressor,staple gun,and table saw size would you need to build subwoofer boxes,and door panels?

1. It's a misconception that subs specs are the deciding factor on how low a sub will play.. IMO playing low comes down to the efficiency of the enclosure.

2. I feel this is a question only you can answer.. how crazy of a box are you building? A simple painted slot port could be done with circular saw and a jig saw.
