Little bit of light dimming.

Just recently I have noticed my interior lights are dimming when playing my music at high volumes.

My setup currently consist of

270amp singer alt

d3400 under the hood

d975 in the back

I have 2 runs of 0gauge running to the back for the positive

I did the big 3.

im running an aq2200d at .5ohm with dual power and ground inputs

and a aq 120.4.

I am stumped at this point and could use some help. I soldered all the lugs with 60/40 rosin-core. I am wondering if that could be it.

the solders are a possible culprit. check your grounds. did you run a ground to the case of the alternator?

Cables and wires almost never fail; the terminations do.

how do you have your gains set ? are u using the bass boost ?? if the gains are set wrong that could cause head light dimming and using the bass boost. i know cuz ive had that problem. still got some dimming but i think i just need an extra batt

12.6 is a little low for AGMs, but it's not too bad. is the alt in the stock location, or is it on a custom bracket?
