Cold Start Idle Problems

Need scan tool data. and codes. I could rattle off a ton of different things to go and try. But you will end up spending more money tossing parts at it. Look up online in your area for a good independent shop. Pay for the diagnoses and decide from there if you want to have them work on it after

I didn't read where the op said the "check engine" light is on for diagnostic test ??? Could have missed it with this shitty phone ...

It doesnt say that but by everyting they said it should be on. If its not on there may be a stored codes in the history or pending. Also if its not on data off the scan tool will help. Looking at short and long term fuel trims. I could go on for ever.

I also took it to a shop. $1000 later it didnt change anything so they "took it to specialists" who also did nothing. $1000 dollars for nothing..

My penis is bigger than your penis

I'm far from loud and my roof/headliner flaps around like Adam's ass on a windy day. I think it depends more on the structure of the vehicle.

The car isnt worth having someone else fix it. to pricey for a car worth $1500 to an idiot. I have no codes so i can replace cheap stuff right? hoses? clean IAC? And if that doesn't work upper and lower head gaskets? whats everyones thought on that?

Believe it or not you should seek out your car type forum to see if your having known issues that can be found much quicker and easier.

All cars have known issues that people over time have fixed and will share solutions to them.

As an example, my zx3 has known wiring harness issues going into the hatch that crack and short out causing all kinds of electrical problems.

You are going to be spending a lot of mone tossing parts at it and not fixing the issue. NEED LIVE DATA to see how it is running.

But what do I know.

If you want toss a coolant temp sensor on it see if that works. If it doesnt fix it come back here and I can name a few other parts to toss at it.

Im taking apart my intake again tomorrow, only got to throttle body last time. Im going to clean out the IAC and look into the gaskets, they are $35 for upper and lower. so if gaskets arent the issue. ill address it from there.

Spray carb cleaner along the intake if the idle changes then you know you have a intake gasket problem. If not then go a different route
