betweenmatt
Hey guys, I have a 1990 buick century custom. Ever since I've had the car, its had this random shudder when I idle.... It feels like it wants to stall, but has yet to do so even when its below 0 out. Sadly I have no tach, but I did install a voltometer today and the voltage drops around 1 volt when this shudder happens - I'm assuming its because of an rpm drop. It also seems to only happen when in park. Sorry if my description is vague, I don't really know anything about car engines and such... I haven't checked anything under the hood cause I didn't know where to start, but my check engine light has not come on even once. Can anyone guess as to what could cause this? Or at least if its something to worry about? I'm just terribly afraid that it's going to crap out on me cause I cant really afford to get it fixed super fast -.- Thanks! betweenmatt
I don't think its something like that, cause the drop only lasts maybe 1-3 seconds, and it'll happen maybe 30 seconds after start even after a cold start. Also it happens with no ac/heat/defrost/radio/headlights etc.
