Hifonics BRX2400.1D Brutus Vehicle Mono Subwoofer Amplifier https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BHSTTLK/ref=cm_sw_r_awd_U7WYub1WEM8KE

Ok I'm looking into getting 2 of the brutus series amplifiers

I know There was a certain model that puts out rated power...

Electrical will be 4 AGM batteries and Dual alternators so power is no issues.. with my MLa modual they will see 15.3v

Possible other suggestions?

I think it will do fine for what you're doing with it.

I wouldn't charge at 15.3 though.

That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.

the amp okay

the reason you dont want to charge at 15.3 is because the batteries will swell up and possibly leak or even damage the battery. 15.3 for a few minutes during a comp where voltage will drop id okay. 15.3 on a daily that hardly dont get drop will cause more problems. over charging batteries tend to over heat them and thats never a good idea.. at most set it at 14.8 as long as it will drop to 14.4 or lower when the alternator is all warmed up.. 13.8 will give you longer battery life

i wouldnt do 15.3 period. and if that mla wont let it drop below 14.8 i wouldnt get it.. 14.8 cold is okay. a few minutes and it should be 14.00.. look at battery manufacture recommendations. i rather have 14.0 volts and batteries that last 10 years over 14.8 with batteries that last 1 year just to gain 200 watts

with dual alternators and 4 batteries it should be more than enough for what you need. you shouldnt be worried about voltage drop. at this point the mla is useless. you will be sitting at 14.4-14.0 at all times. the only use the MLA has is if you have an ecm controlled alternator where it shuts it down for less fuel consumption. then you do need it to keep the alternator charging at all times

Yes that's why I'm getting one.. Bcs I'm sick of having it charge at 12.8v it's quite annoying when Ur rocking out.

I have an 05 yukon it's going on.. and I will have 3 alternators total 2 strictly for the system... I want zero voltage drop.. with this system in charge mode it actually does charge at 14.8-15.3 until it goes into economic mode, then the fun is over.

How much rms do you think would be maxx? 4 AGM batteries and 2 280amp alternators?

Assuming the alts do what you say they do you shouldn't have drop on the 4k you're looking at.
