alaskanzx5 Posted February 4, 2015 Report Posted February 4, 2015 The only true way to determine this is worth an rta.. What would be needed 2 speakers that are the exact same except cone material 1 open room 1 amp 1 cd player 1 freq sweep 1 box A rta to measure freq response Without changing anything but the sub you would first do an era measurement of the freq reasons of sub A. Then without changing anything else in the setup besides the sub swap sub B into the subwoofer enclosure and so an rta reading. That would map out your freq response and give you the b best possible answer of whether or not the material of the cone changes the sound. t1500bdcp 2 t2d4 15" 1 t600.4 1 t400.2 1 set p1 tweets singer alt, tons of wiring, smd vm-1, 80prs, back seat delete, still in the works, aiming for a 145-147 with the ability to play 25hz up to 50hz.
