thxsubwoofers
Is there any good subwoofer wiring diagrams. I tried looking online but found mostly dual 6 ohm, and the common SVC 2 or SVC 4, or DVC 2 and DVC 4, but single 6 ohm is hard to find. I'm trying to run a small project and running two single 6 ohm 8" subs, and I don't want to fry my amp by wiring it up wrong. I'm running an alpine pdx 600 and it has 2 or 4 ohm load. _paralyzed_
Wire them in parallel. The positive of one sub to the positive of the next sub to the positive of the amp.The negative of one sub to the negative of the next sub to the negative of the amp.Your amp will see a 3 ohm load, which is fine. The lowest your amp can handle is 2 ohms, but it can also handle any ohm load higher than that. The specs only show 2 and 4 ohms because those are the most common.
