Deeznutz Posted February 14, 2015 Report Posted February 14, 2015 Using your dimensions 31x17x21, gives you 6.4cf of truck space. Now before you go any further, you will need to see how much room you have to "put the box in the trunk". Once the trunk lid goes up, the only restriction will be the top of the trunk, the bottom of the trunk,...and if you have a Bimmer, the sides sides of the trunk! Put it this way, I had originally had,.. say 33x16x21 of space to work with. With that damn trunk opening, I had to bring the box down to 28x13x17 or so. Something like that. Because there was not way of building a 29" long box, if the opening is only 28"! Just keep things like this in mind before asking for someone to build you a box....it may not fit the trunk opening. Get empty cardboard boxes from Walmart, and test what boxes will fix. Cut, tape a box-to-a-box to simulate a 3.5cf enclosure. 1800W sub?? (shaking my head). -Frank
