JEFFYBOI Posted February 22, 2015 Report Share Posted February 22, 2015 So my buddy is running 2 Crossfire C7 12s 2ohm DVC on 2 Crossfire C5 1700D Strapped at 2 ohm load. Ran for about a week no problems.... Buys a Audison bit 10 sound processor. Starts hooking it up and as soon he connects the remote turn on to the processor we noticed a loud noise and the subs pulled in pretty hard. Troubleshooting We had Unhooked all RCAs and noticed the master amp speaker outputs was putting out 157V. Now remember there is no signal to the amp. Just ignition turned over with no signal the master amp is putting out 157V reading. We suspected defective amp, picked a new one up this morning and its doing the same exact thing. Anyone have issues with processors making your master amp do some funny shit like this? Any input or ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! Its working fine right now running off the 1 replacement amp. gonna get a second replacement and just gain match, shouldn't have any issues.
