Guest Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Those dimensions are not nearly enough for a dc level 3 Im getting around 1.5cu ft with those measurements you need to be close to 3.3 cu ft
AndersNorlev Posted February 28, 2015 Author Report Posted February 28, 2015 I think its was to small.. But DC is suggested for a ported 1.25³ ft and that is about 35,39 liter..
Guest Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Im sorry I was reading for a 15" Here I found this design on the forum for a dc level 3 12" the dimensions are inches http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/195595-dc-lvl-3-12-box-design/
AndersNorlev Posted February 28, 2015 Author Report Posted February 28, 2015 Nice, Thank you, i will try to convert it to mm :-)
AndersNorlev Posted February 28, 2015 Author Report Posted February 28, 2015 Damm.. the box is to big for my trunk..
Joe X Posted February 28, 2015 Report Posted February 28, 2015 Hello, Im lost.... I have tried to build a enclosure for my lvl3 12" and all online calculators makes different measurements.. I have a buddy and he sad i need a box in, 400x660x280mm with a vent at 70mm... Can some one help me?? //Anders Here is a suggestion on low power, upgrade to a 1K amp when possible, made for 18mm 19mm wood, if different thickness is needed, let me know: NOTES: power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 7 cm, figure is just an assembly guide: NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.
AndersNorlev Posted March 1, 2015 Author Report Posted March 1, 2015 Thank you Joe X, you are the man! :-) Wood thickness i have is 19mm, so i think your provides messurements are fine :-)
Joe X Posted March 1, 2015 Report Posted March 1, 2015 Changed to 19mm so that your parts fit perfectly as possible, a single mm made enough difference to require some changes to preserve the original spec. All done now, have fun.
