Alex Coyne
Your going to have to contact Mike Singer http://singeralternators.com/ I have a 2005 Honda and just like the 04 it has a voltage regulator that will drop your voltage to save gas mileage (on the honda's there's a regulator that tells your alternator to charge your battery just enough to keep the car running). Mike Singer is the only person I contacted who knows how to bypass the regulator (the regulator is called "ELD"). You could by an alternator from DC power, Mechman, Iraggi....ect but the ELD will still tell the alternator to charge very low. Contact Mike and he'll give you prices. You will for sure have to by this alternator new (A used alternator with the Honda ELD bypass is going to be impossible to find used). Hope this helps
hifonix
Check with the big names Singer/DC/Mechman. You could ask in this thread about bypass for your year. http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/139844-how-to-eld-bypass-for-honda-civicaccordfit/ Under Construction
