Nate121 Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 So, I'm trying to see if I can build a box inside of my trunk. Or something. The clearance I have is shotty. At one point I have about 14.5 on the height 14.5 on the depth. and around 30 in for the width. Maybe a little less. Any help on this? I have no clue on how to vent a box which I would like to do at around 35hz.
Joe X Posted March 17, 2015 Report Posted March 17, 2015 Welcome, here is a suggestion, power: to sub rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 2 3/8", figure is just an assembly guide:NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.
Nate121 Posted March 17, 2015 Author Report Posted March 17, 2015 Wow. Thanks man. I've heard these subs are greatly underrated. Should I just throw 600 RMS at it? Or should I Bump it up a little and tweak the gain etc.
