Gregory Brissitt Posted March 25, 2015 Author Report Posted March 25, 2015 If those are exactly what you got they are 2 ohm voice coil subs. It is not possible to wire up two 2 ohm dual voice coil subs to 2 ohms final load. This isn't a problem, you just need to keep it in mind when you pick an amp. thats exactly what i have,,,, and thats y i am in the hunt for a good enough amps to play these subs... as for the final install like the connecting of the speaker and amps etc , i am going to ask a guy that install audio to do so for me ,i just want to be there to see what he is doing and to correct him if i see something going wrong , thats y i am trying to get as much info here and to learn as well so i can have an idea of whats going on , i dont want to spend money buying stuff and then someone fuck it up because they dont know what they doing,, so all the help i can get i will take and make the best of it

I'm pretty sure two 2ohm dvc subs can be wired as .5, 2, and 8 ohm final impedances. Because that's exactly what I did with my two 2ohm dvc hds312's, is wire them a 2ohm final impedance. http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/woofer_configurationsm.asp?Q=2&I=22#results So OP should wire to two ohm, meaning for full use of RMS of subs, find an amp that does ~2400W at 2ohms. Yeah you are right. I had a brain fart. I was thinking it is not possible to wire up two 2 ohv DVC subs to 1 ohm final load. I've edited my post to reflect this.
