d-nice88 Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 ok so im gona be running a ss ta1 3000.d and a lil lanzar 4 channle amp. Gona be around 3000 to 3500 watts rms so my Q is what would be the best way to run my second batt in the rear of my ride. In parallel or with some sort of isolater ?? what i was gona do in the first place was just run it in parallel with the batt in the front im not gona be sittin around bassing with the car off im just using it as a daily driver and i want absolutely no dimming when the bass hits. my set up is xs power 3400 under the hood juice box black cherry group 31 in the trunk with the ss ta1 3000.1 d and the lil lanzar 4 channle amp with all shca ofc 2/0 guage wiring with big three done and mechman 250 h/o alt and some SQ HDS300 15's
SnowDrifter Posted March 29, 2015 Report Posted March 29, 2015 In parallel, no isolator. Make sure they are of similar resting voltages when fully charged. IMO ground amp to the rear battery and rear battery to the frame Your positive run going to the rear battery should have 2 fuses on it, one fuse near each battery. ~~~~~~~~SAY NO TO PHOTOBUCKET~~~~~~~~ Snow's DD-1 tracks here: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/167433-snows-dd-1-tracks/ My take on OFC vs CCA: https://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/110381-things-that-piss-you-off-in-the-car-audio-world/?do=findComment&comment=2461444
