First time adding an additional battery so I wasn't sure both batteries are 12volts at 750 CCA its not a beast of a system by any means I just wanted to be on the safe side. chris@xspower Posted April 13, 2015 Report Share Posted April 13, 2015 an isolator can be use when one battery is an AGM and the other is a Flooded cell. particularly when the flooded cell is an older battery. as the resting voltages of the 2 batteries will differ.
