  1. Hi, First I would like to apologize for the experience you may have had. we want to make sure you are a satisfied customer in any situation. However, as far as the warranty is concerned, we are unable to warranty a battery if it has simply been used to its capacity. Unfortunately, people would like to take advantage of us if they knew anyone and everyone would be able to change out batteries for any given reason. This is why we have our return and evaluation policy in place. our policy is there to cover against manufacture defective situations. With that being said, I think the best course of action at this moment would be for you to charge the battery with the trick mentioned in a previous comment. a recovery charge from a PSC charger would be ideal. if the battery has only set for a short period of time, it is possible that you could bring it back. we would be happy to also do this service for you. we would just need to make an RGA. However, there is a possibility the battery is unable to be brought back and in that case you would be out shipping money to us and would have to purchase a new battery at a discounted cost. Please let me know if you have any questions about the evaluation or about any situation you may want to discuss. I would be happy to help. Here is all of my contact information Chris Miller [email protected] [email protected] 865-688-5953
  2. the reason for the long charge times is the very low amperage that is being accepted into the battery. Letting that battery charge until full, no matter how long, will be very good for it in the end. the low amperage will keep excessive heat from building internally
  3. Hi, in that situation where changing the cable clamps is out of the questions I would suggest purchasing a new set of terminals and using the 2 positive terminals (larger) of the 2 sets you will have. unfortunately we do not have any OE style terminals that have a larger diameter
  4. your factory battery is group size 121R we do not have perfect fit for that sizing but we do have the D5100R that will power, roughly, a 2000W RMS system with ease. Let me know if you have any questions on it. You can contact me at my email for quickest response also. [email protected]
  5. if the resting voltages are different because of the older aged battery then that could pose a little bit of a concern on a new battery that has a higher resting voltage. in simplest terms, the lower battery can pull on the higher voltage battery and could bring the bank down.
  6. correct. we have 4 spl models that is for competition only. give us a call with any questions you may have. thanks
  7. As long as you keep your batteries maintained, you technically never really need to do it. However, if the occasion arises that you have a deeply discharged battery the recovery mode will work best as it inputs a very small amount of amperage to keep heat down incase the battery is sulfated.
  8. let me know what questions you may have, maybe I can help you out.
  9. I would suggest the D2400 as the drop in replacement. this will be able to handle around 3500w RMS. if you have any other questions on battery recommendations, give us a shout! thanks
  10. Cranking amps or CA is a 30 second measurement of amperage output. Max Amps is the same measurement for a 5 second test. this is for the people that need the battery with most instant power output depending on their needs. if you want to run 14v in the rear, you will need a stand alone way of charging the 14v batteries. either with a second alternator or a charger/ power supply.
  11. If purchasing a D3400 they come with m6 bolts for various ring terminals. if you are replacing the factory battery, I would suggest the 551 side post adapters for gm vehicles. If you are adding a D3400 as a secondary, the required accessories or wire would be dependent on how you mount and run the battery cables which are sold separate.
  12. The charger goes into a float mode when a battery is fully charged. It has a lower voltage that when the battery is absorbing the charge but still has to high of a continuous charge for the lithium. we have a specific lithium charger that actually cuts itself completely off once charged. simply once the AGM charger goes into float mode. pull it off the lithium and your ready to go!
  13. to charge a lithium with our AGM charger you will have to monitor the charge process once the battery is full. remove the charger. do not let it set in float mode. with this being said, It would be easier on you and the battery bank to charge the batteries one at a time.
  14. Hi if you are just replacing the factory battery with no upgrade to sound system then yes the D3400 with side post adapters is what you would need! thanks!
  15. yes exactly as stated above the problem is long term. especially if you let the car sit for long periods of time. the resting voltage of the flooded cell battery and the AGM are different, causing the flooded cell to pull the voltage of the AGM down.
  16. you could use a D4800 battery as you starter and the XP you mentioned above. if it is not within your budget then you can run the XP battery with your starting battery with minimal issues. the main issue comes later on in the battery life as a regular flooded cell battery has a lower resting voltage than that of an AGM.
  17. ^ this. and it is a long term effect that can happen if the batteries are not of equal age to begin with .
  18. Great! we are happy it is working for you and you like it
  19. The D5100 is rated at 3100 max amps and 60AH. The other listing you seen of a lesser number must be a typo.
