catch 22 Posted April 12, 2015 Author Report Posted April 12, 2015 Well, tried to install the new singer alt and the bolts are just barely out of line. The alternator case just barely hits the timing chain cover. I was told it's a direct replacement. Anyways, if I shave off just a bit of the alt case I can make it fit. But dnt want to void the warranty or anything. Thoughts??
db_speakerbox Posted April 12, 2015 Report Posted April 12, 2015 Metal flashing? Like sheet metal? Yes it's like the thin stuff that you can get in a roll. About the alt I'd email Mike about it. He is usually pretty quick to respond.
