first box build was a failure

pretty sure i blew something in my subs cause i heard sparks from the inside of my box when i turned it up and none of the wires were touching so must of did something wrong. so now im onto my second build because the box was flexing pretty hard and air was leaking it was just terrible

if someone can make me a lay out. h w d would be 16x28x38 are max for everything i want to be tuned to about 29hz or 32hz what ever one you feel like is better im still using my audiopipe 1500.1d for two mtx 9500....

I'd say your worst problem was at building (the leaks and all) wouldn't you want advise on that first? No box specs will help if it's not built well.

I used plywood 3/4 inch, and i did seal them all off with silicone and i typed everything in on winisd for the speaker specs i dont know what i did wrong, i was just hoping for someone else to show me the ways cause with out sounds in the trunk i dont even want to drive my car and no the box is way to big for my trunk i had to take my back seats out and shit i just got done putting them back in i just want something to fit in my trunk

To build the following or any other thing for that matter have someone to help you, and also get someone to help you with wiring too. If you can't have or don't want help, ask every question about building the box on here and show pics of what you have built to get feedback.

Here is a suggestion, power: to subs rated, amp subsonic filter to 28Hz, minimum port clearance 4 1/2", figure is just an assembly guide:

NOTE: If building outside you need to build a cardboard dummy box to test fit in it's way inside.
