Nealon14 Posted April 22, 2015 Author Report Posted April 22, 2015 How thick do you have that body filler man? probably like 1/8 of an inch maybe a little more in certain places
Nealon14 Posted April 25, 2015 Author Report Posted April 25, 2015 well i finished the pods they came out alright i could of done better, but i couldn't wait to get them in to test it out. sounds great. 10000x better than having them in the stock door location. next on the list to do is building a new box for my zv4 15. i will most likely use arauco ply if i can get some from home depot or lowes. My plans are 4.5cubes tuned to 31hz with an 8 inch sono tube as the port with steel bracing. It will be powered by a saz3500v2. I am also in the process of getting a singer 240a alt. I am trying to sell my soundqubed 120.4 to get either a sax100.4v2 or an ampere 125.4.
CleanSierra Posted April 25, 2015 Report Posted April 25, 2015 The Ampere is the better amp compared to that SAX100.4v2. The SAX100.4 version A-D would be comparable to the Ampere, but the v2 ano you're looking at is seriously lacking in features that the Ampere has. You're able to use the on board high and low pass filters on the amp to go full active. The v2 didn't have those Xovers. Either get the Ampere or look into the D version of the SAX100.4. I love mine, it puts out great power Im not the one you want to try to troll. Just a fyi for you.

I love mine, it puts out great power sweet thanks for the heads up man i can probably get the ampere for cheaper too. i am looking for a nice ab class amp though for some reason i always liked them even though they usually run hot. It would be really nice to have matching amps though. If i use the 80prs headunit for an active setup would the ampere still be the better buy? the thing im looking for is class ab and atleast 120 watts a channel at 4 ohms but i heard the sax is underrated.
