Orfeous Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 I have my LOC in my trunk hooked up passively right now.But i want to connect 12v and the ground so i can use the remote out function/cable.The question is.. where can i take that constant 12v source from?Fuseblock? Amplifier power?I have a 0AWG mainpower cable coming from battery in the engine apartment goingto trunk to a fuse holder, where it splits to two separately fused 4AWG cables to two amps. That is how its wired.
diegoclass2010 Posted April 23, 2015 Report Posted April 23, 2015 if you just need a constant 12 volt you can hook up to the power wire, or you can T tap into something closer more convenient, like some cigarette lighters, power line to the fuse box and there's more... just test with a multi meter before you tap into anything
