I really don't wanna pull these out. I put them in with the box standing up vertically. Heading out to check the ohm reading in a minute. they are both still playing, but I know a sub can play on 1 coil. hoping I can get a clue to which sub it was before just pulling and inspecting both. 01 Suburban Z71 - 5.3L - Black - 6" Lift on 35's - Pioneer H/U - Kicker Mids, 8" Polk sub. Leedogg Posted May 4, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 4, 2015 OK- just checked the ohm loads, the right sub reads .63 and the Left is 1.5. the are dual 2 subs wired parallel inside the box to 1 set of terminals for each sub. So I thinking the left sub lost a coil. does that make sense? The boards underneath really helped- Drivers side Sub leads looked good. Coils not bad eaither- a lil dark.. This is lifting the cone a bit to see more of the VC- Pass side Sub- also no lead issues So much for the good news... Got inquiries sent in to Tantric and PSI for recone options, neither have replied yet.
