Probably fire them at the trunk so you can see them with the trunk popped. lotso deadener in the future. Shit but im up for ideas. yea i mean id fire at rear seats to reduce flex of the vechicle. at this point you are simulating a 4th order if your trunk is sealed off from the cabin. sirhutson Posted June 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted June 16, 2015 Well its so long to my 500/5. Sending her off to JL to see if they can fix the beast. Such a good amp. But when one door closes another one opens. Now i get to use a DD C5D. Here is a shat picture of her temporarily laid out. Having this amp now lets me utilize the Network mode in the Pioneer 80PRS. Meaning I have my tweeters on channel 1 and 2, and my front 6.5's on 3 and 4. And at the amp i have all filters turned off. On the HU there is physical switch that changes it from standard to network mode. Then i get to set up my system like this. Network 1 lets you pick between your High pass filter, band pass filter, and low pass filter. Network 2 allows you to adjust your frequencies and your levels. Network 3 lets you choose your slopes. This what it look like. And to top it all off, 16 band graphic EQ per channel After about an hour of tuning, let me just say....IT SOUNDS GOOD. I'm a fan of Focal speakers. black BMW X1 2.0 l 192 hp OEM head unit, Amplifiers : Audison AP 8.9 amp with integrated DSP and Ampere Audio 1200. Focal ES 100 K in front doors, and Dayton RS 180 for midbass under the front seats. 2 SSA DEMONS 10" subs, in a 2.6 ft3 ported box.
