My girlfriend WANTS a new build in her daily, we are trying to decide what to do, our options are 2 12s, 1 15, and 2 15s, its in a Volkswagen Jetta, so the 2 15s would be a squeeze. She loves low bass, so she really wants a 15. I would like to do 2 12s, and just tune low... We would like to play from 25-50ish. We are tying to decide on subs, so please let me know which you would choose in your application 2 DC Audio Level 3 12s 1 DC Audio XL 15 2 Sundown X 12s 1 Sundown Zv4 15 if you have any suggestions let me know! I've build boxes using 6.5" subs that will play down to the high 20's, conversely there are a lot of 15" subs out there with really high QTS that aren't going to play lower notes well in ported boxes. You need to look at the specs of each sub and evaluate them individually based on what you want to do.
