Broke_Audio_Addict Posted May 5, 2015 Report Posted May 5, 2015 That's really pushing it, to get a decent amp for that price you'll have to shop used. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals.
whack0922 Posted May 5, 2015 Author Report Posted May 5, 2015 well like i said im not looking for anything special... just something to notice the difference but also not costing a whole lot. The durango i have is mainly for me to learn on that's all. So i don't need dramatic differences.
gdaigle Posted May 5, 2015 Report Posted May 5, 2015 I would also recommend going used on that budget if u want the most for your money. Or you can go to sonic electronix and filter for 4 channel amps in your price range and read some reviews. I wouldnt expect anything special in that price range though. They also have discounts on wiring kits sometimes when purchased with the amp. whack0922 Posted May 5, 2015 Author Report Posted May 5, 2015 so is there any wiring kits you could recommend to me right now?
gdaigle Posted May 5, 2015 Report Posted May 5, 2015 If u are only going to be running approx 200w then u should be ok with just a basic 4 gauge kit. Just make sure the power and ground cables are long enough for your install. If you buy an amp/wiring kit combo it should be fool proof. Sonic has great customer service as well. I've placed 20+ orders from them and never had any issues with them. Are u thinking about upgrading later or adding subs? But I am going to get a new vehicle in September and am going to have a much larger sound system in that. So as it stands right now.... I am not going to upgrade what I have in the Durnago
Andrew Storlie Posted May 5, 2015 Report Posted May 5, 2015 best place to look for a cheap working amp.... CRAIGSLIST!!!!!! just make sure you test fully before you buy.
