ILuvJDM Posted May 16, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 16, 2015 After looking at the specs on SSA I think I'm going to have a box built just like the pictures in my second post. It says 2.25ft^3 @ 29-34hz is the optimal and I should be able to get that volume out of that entire 40% seat area. I also want it to go high enough to cover the line of sight to my amp that's behind it, so probably up to the arm rest height on the door... They show the sub and port both facing forward, and I could do this just like the picture below: The sub would stay protected because the passenger seat would be there to keep anything from puncturing the cone or surround.
