t port length help

hey guys I need a lil help with my box. im doing 49 wide 23.25 high (double baffle) 19.5 deep box. subs up port back for 2 skar audio ddx 15s. I came up with 10.36 gross im doing 1 115 sq in port 24 in deep slot port down the middle of the box. the port will be 21 high 5.5 wide and 24 deep. my question is if I go back to do a t port I know I need to split it on the back wall and half the 5.5 so it will be 2.75 inched off the back wall so that mean it will be like 15.25 inches of the 24 inch port. now when I bend it in both directions that's where im stuck do I do 10 inches but ways to add up to 24 inches or do I do 5 inches both ways to make that add up to a total of 10 inches to get the 24 inches. please help

You 10 inches both ways. Don't forget the port tuning is made by port area (115sq in) and port length (24in). So when the port area is split at the back it still gives 115sq in @ 24in.. but if you cut the length by 5in u will shorten the total port. Just think of each port being separate hence needing full length

Ok thanks i was just trying to make sure before i get building
