neonhomer
This is for a friend of mine. He has a SSL (SoundStorm Labs) Evolution 4000D amp, and it bounces between the power light and the protect light. He's disconnected everything from the amp except the power, and it still does it. He has checked his power and his grounds and they seem to be good. Voltage into the amp is 13.2 v. He's thinking the amp is fried. I'm beginning to think so too.. Any things we can check before having to commit it to the great amplifier beyond?
Broke_Audio_Addict
Those amps are junk anyways, just replace it. That being said a lot of people's definition of "music" is a clipped 30 hz sine wave with some 80 IQ knuckle head grunting about committing crimes and his genitals. neonhomer
LOL.... I had my suspicions when I was reading some of the reviews about it on Amazon.... some dead on arrival... Not to say my Tezla amp is any better...
