JakeMN
I know this volt meter won't be as accurate as the SMD one but I'm just wondering if this one will work: http://www.amazon.com/Digital-Voltmeter-Voltage-Battery-Accurate/dp/B00C2NRWLS/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8 Thanks. reedal
Try it out and let us know. I'm sure like any digital meter it won't be spot on though and you might not know just how low the voltage got at most points. But with it only being two wires, make sure the positive goes on your remote turn on. Or wire it to a switch then to amps positive, so it's not constantly on. gdaigle
I wouldn't expect it to be very accurate. I'm using a cheap stinger volt meter that I paid 20 bucks for and it does ok. I know they aren't supposed to be very accurate either but I've tested it with my multimeter reading the voltage simultaneously and it seems to be accurate enough. I do plan on upgrading at some point though. JakeMN
I'm just debating on whether or Not I should go with a stinger or one of these cheaper ones. I can't see there being much of a difference other than the name ? What do you guys think Bass head in training. Rich Schenk
I would buy the stinger till u can later get the smd one. I have 2 stinger ones myself work for me pretty accurate. gdaigle
I would just pay the extra 12 bucks...but that's just me. You could just buy it, try it and if it doesn't work out you only wasted 8 bucks so no big deal.
