I'm going to change my port out and tune the box to the trucks peak and see what it gains. What I should be doing is trying to get it to play flat from 30-45hz. 2001 Tahoe. You definitely don't need anywhere near 8k to do a 150 if you have a suv But still along way from 155!!!! The 155 came extremely easily in my truck. All I did was add another amp and wired down. I didn't touch anything at all and gained 4db 2001 Tahoe. doug118 Posted May 26, 2015 Author Report Share Posted May 26, 2015 No way. Like I said I broke a 150 with an AB150.1 wired to .5, AQ2200 wired to .5, and a single Taramps hd8000 wired to 2 ohms. So all between 2k-3500 watts. The HD8000 wired to 2 ohms does close to a 152. Then the 2 hd8000's wired to 1 ohm each is when I got the 55+ 2001 Tahoe.
